We feature great half-day trips (minimum of 2 persons per trip) all within the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest areas of Northern Georgia. Our Mission is to be of full service to you (ALL AGES WELCOME) so that you can benefit from the beauty and the splendor of nature while enjoying a hike and/or bike; or floating or paddling down one of the beautiful clean rivers! Our staff numbers are adjusted so that you are assured to have the attention that you deserve.

We provide round trip transportation, all equipment and supplies necessary for your fully guided adventures. Although we provide water along with rest stops and bathroom stops, we encourage you to bring fluids to stay hydrated. For your convenience, we provide two pick-up locations:

1. The main square in front of the Dahlonega Visitors’ Center;
2. Pura Vida USA Resort (www.PuraVidaUSA.com).

All programs are 1/2 day trips. This brochure offers a brief description of some of our most popular programs, weather permitting.

Hike/Bike

We provide you with an easy-to-use gear equipped bicycle to ride and discover the beauty of some of our most astounding state parks located within Chattahoochee National Forest.

Nature Tours
Smithgall-Woods is 5,644 acres of natural trails and roads perfect for a hike/bike. We bike the most scenic trails. We will stop to hike through the wildlife observation trail which lists facts about the local habitats. We will take a rest near Dukes Creek where you can wade to cool off!$50.00

Unicoi State Park is 1,050 acres of natural waterfalls and trails. We will enjoy a bike and hike up to Anna Ruby Falls for one of the most spectacular views around. On the ride down, we will stop for a quick rest (and a dip if you fancy!) at the beach. $50.00

Chattahoochee River: While enjoying a spectacular bike ride along the banks of the river we will stop for a hike through the Chattahoochee National Forest!$50.00

Vogel State Park is 233 acres of splendor that is the doorway to spectacular forestry that we will hike and bike. This is fun and exciting, mostly a down hill ride from one of Georgia’s highest points. We continue with a hike around the lake and beach or we will hike a ridge through the forest. $50.00

Amicalola Falls State Park is 829 acres of lovely trails and is the official site of the Appalachian Trail head that we will hike. Our ascent is alongside a 729 foot waterfall! (Hike only.) $40.00

Woody’s Gap will lead us on a spectacular walk through the woods of Appalachia where we will arrive at the most scenic of vistas. (Hike only.) $40.00

Kayak Adventures
Enjoy the tranquility of nature while watching the world go by from the middle of the rivers! We provide you with a sit-on-top kayak, paddle, life vest, and helmet to insure that your trip is adventurous and safe as we go with the flow.

Chestatee River kayak tour is a lovely class I trip through forestry, where you will see the beauty of plants, turtles, and rare birds along the banks as you paddle through crystal clear waters. This tranquil journey lends itself to a meditational experience at times. We will paddle to the various beaches along the way for rest stops. $75.00

Chattahoochee River kayak tour is a breathtaking class II-III river trip where we will see much beauty and splendor coupled with a more challlenging and fun paddle. $75.00

Etowah River is an inviting run of white waters nestled within beautiful country-side views. You will be paddling a class II river of ebbs and flows. This is a spectacular trip, especially if you have kayaked before. $75.00

Toccoa River trip takes us into the Appalacian Trail country. As a class II trip, we will explore the beauty and wildlife off the beaten path. $75.00
